Chiang Mai’s Addict Art Studio is hosting the second Kinhom Tommuan Festival this coming weekend. The cultural extravaganza is being staged with the theme of ‘We Love You’ and is set to be an exciting fusion of music, performing arts, painting, handicraft workshops and peerless dining opportunities.
The venue for the eagerly awaited event is the Khuan Khama Samakkee neighbourhood in the northwest corner of Chiang Mai Old City. Some of the live music is being staged by local pub, and one of the best loved Chiang Mai live music venues, the North Gate Jazz Co-Op. Folk and electro music are among other genres on the music menu.
Kinhom Tommuan Art Festival will run on Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th December between 13:00 and 21:00. The focal point of the festivities in Khuan Khama Samakkee is Sripoom Road, Soi 6. This is close to Khuan Khama Temple and across from the Old City moat.
Both the Addict Art Studio and North Gate Jazz Co-Op are located in this part of town. More details about the North Gate and other live music bars in Chiang Mai can be found on this What’s Up guide.
