To celebrate Mother’s Day in Thailand next Monday, the onsite restaurant at the Chiang Mai’s U Nimman Hotel is serving a five-star buffet dinner. The hotel’s swanky Eat@Rincome Restaurant is the venue for what will surely be a memorable meal. According to the eatery’s Facebook events page, the buffet includes steaks, a carvery, sushi, seafood and barbecued meats on kebab sticks.
The meal comes with a selection of premium desserts too. Mum will be presented with her own specially created dessert plus a free souvenir gift. The buffet will be available on Mother’s Day Eve, the 11th of August, and Mother’s Day itself, the 12th. It will be served between 18:00 and 22:00. Tickets for a Mother’s Day dinner with a difference are THB650 a person.
The 12th of August is the birthday of Queen Sirikit and mother of current Thai monarch King Vajiralongkorn. The day was designated national Mother’s Day in the 1980s. The U Nimman Hotel is located at the north end of Nimmanhaemin Road and across from the Maya Mall. Billed as Chiang Mai’s most modern five-star hotel, the U Nimman offers a full range of amenities and a flagship of these is the Eat@Rincome.
